About Us
Black Muva Convos is a community-centered social enterprise created to support black mothers through connection, care, and intentional spaces to release and refill.
We exist because too many black mothers are navigating motherhood, caregiving, and life transitions while being expected to carry everything alone.
Black Muva Convos creates space for black mothers to be honest, be supported, and be in community.

Our Mission
Our mission is to reduce chronic stress and isolation among Black mothers by creating safe, expressive spaces rooted in conversation, connection, and community.
Through curated events, community-based programs, and strategic partnerships, we plan to expand access to culturally relevant support systems, provide tools for emotional well-being, and build a scalable model of community care for black mothers.
Meet the Founder
Black Muva Convos was founded by Brittany B., a Baltimore-based mother, educator, and community builder.
As a NICU mom and caregiver, Brittany understands firsthand the emotional weight, uncertainty, and isolation that can come with navigating motherhood alongside medical systems, hospital stays, and long-term caregiving needs.
After experiencing burnout and isolation herself, she created Black Muva Convos to offer black mothers a different experience; one rooted in honesty, support, and community care.
Today, she facilitates spaces where black mothers can gather, speak freely, and feel less alone.
